Im 22. Ive been playing pickup games for about 3 yrs. I played on the Galveston Pirates (division 1 team) in the Bay Area Soccer League last fall although the team broke up before the season was over. I honestly should have probably gone in on a lower division team due to lack of experience of playing on a team but it was good experience.

SO, Im just looking around to see if teams need another player. Doesnt really matter to me if its co-ed, or what division. I play best and enjoy playing in an attacking midfield role on one of the wings. Although I was put in on my div 1 team as striker/center back/and other defensive roles.

If your team will let me come out to a practice let me know.

If you or someone you know is a cancer survivor I would appreciate a few minutes of your time. I am a doctoral student studying the impact of cancer on one's sense of self or identity. The survey takes about 10-20 minutes. The only criteria is that participants must have been 18 or older at the time of diagnosis. He/she may be in treatment currently or have finished treatment (recently or in the distant past, either is equally valid). The survey is completely anonymous and encrypted. Hearing from a variety of people helps me understand the range of cancer experiences, which will ultimately help professionals design better interventions for adults with cancer.

Lying in a cloud forest, a dramatic 1150 metres (3772 feet) above the Apurimac River and surrounded by a fascinating landscape created by the Vilcabamba mountain range, Choquekirao has everything to offer a trekker. However, due to its remote location, few tourists visited this site in the past. Fortunately, COPESCO, have now also constructed a footbridge over the Apurimac River, below the site, making it more accessible to reach.
It is a challenging but amazing experience to hike down to the depths of the Apurimac Canyon and then up to the site in the clouds.
Day 1:

We pick you up from your hotel at about 8am and travel by bus, for about 4 hours, to the small village of Cachora where we will meet our horseman and mules.

We will begin our trek along the edge of the Apurimac canyon and follow the trail, enjoying the dramatic landscapes and a variety of plant and animal life until we reach our campsite, �La Playa Rosa Linda� (1650m/5413ft).

Day 2:

We will get up early, have breakfast and begin our walk by crossing the Apurimac River and then descending to the lowest point on the trail. Following this, we have a steep ascent through a thick cloud forest towards the Inca site of Choquekirao.

We will have lunch and then time to relax and enjoy the archeological zone, plants, animals (hopefully condors), and views of nearby canyons and snow-capped mountains (Soray � 5428m/17808ft andTuncarway 5910m/19389ft). We will camp close to the site (3033m/9950ft).

Day 3:

Today, we will have breakfast followed by a 3-hour guided tour around Choquekirao itself. After this, we descend to our last campsite, �Santa Rosa�.

Day 4:

We will wake to birds� songs and beautiful scenery. We will walk to Cachora and from there take a bus back to Cusco to arrive at about 8pm.

In December 2007, I weighed 230 lbs. I was unhealthy, and nowhere near where I wanted to be. Then, I rediscovered something simple enough: biking. Both offroad extreme & road biking. I love it! And, it got me down 175 lbs, in 6 months.

I am offering a fun, recreational, yet intensive, exercise/reinvention program for you. All levels welcome, from beginner all the way up to advanced. This is different from all other exercise programs, in many ways. It is very easy to get bored on an indoor stationary exercise bike. That is simple to understand - you aren't "really" going anywhere! You pedal and pedal, and just see the same old thing day after day. Same gym, same results.

On an outdoors biking program, we will take you off road (if you are up to it and want to), on a scenic route, or through the suburbs. We will change up the location, and keep it interesting. We keep groups small for a more personal experience.

Isn't 6 weeks worth a chance at a longer healthier life?
